Real Rookie Here but

I was notified I had a rootkit virus in NORTON GO BACK and when ot was removed and computer rebooted it said I had to disable the Norton Goback to restart  so I did and now I get a BLUE SCREEN after the windows logo flashes and cannot bot in ANY of the modes without gettinh ythe same blue screen sayiong it shut down my computer to avoid damage. I tried theReinstallation CD and it won't boot with that either ewven after going to F12 I believe it was and saying boot from CD Drive. The error codes are as follows

 

0x0000007B

0xF7C71528

0xC00000034

and 2   0x00000000

 

Any HELP ??

This is really useless site when someone need help with a Norton Product but if there is anyone else out there with the same problem they can try to fix it by following this link

Most people here are not paid by Symantec. So be patient please. Maybe nobody uses GoBack anymore since it is obsolete and han't been updated in years. I have never tried it myself even though I have had several Norton bundles that came with it.

THANK YOU for the reply, I had WRONGLY ASSUMED that NORTON / SYMANTEC techs monitored this site are were responsible for resolving issues

They help out on there free time.  There is a topic about goback about 8 posts beow this one and a Symantec employee is helping the person.

 

If you search this section for goback issues you will also fine many topics about removeing goback.

I was going to post a link to the goback removal tool but when you made that second post I assumed you had everything fixed.

Thank link you gave has the tool and instructions how to use it and restore the MBR if necessary.
