I 'own' a site but am not a web developer. My site has been in existence for approx 4 years. During that time it was compromised, along with a number of other sites on the same server, with malicous code being left on a vulnerable (contact) page.
I immediately employed a company who specialise in site security and they went through the site with a fine toothcomb, removing the malicious script and rebuilding a couple of pages. I switched to them to host my site too. I am perfectly delighted with what they have done, yet have never managed to get the prized 'green tick' despite all the work, time and money that has gone into making the site as safe as possible.
Please could you tell me what I need to do to get the tick - I am sorry to be so thick, but I've tried to find the correct route via these pages and seem to be stuck (well, I am blonde!)
The site in question is www.therealvisitorsbook.co.uk and I would value someone telling me what I need to do now please (in as 'easy to understand' a manner as possible!) Sorry if I have posted in the wrong place - I am a 'posting virgin'!!!
