I first heard about Vivaldi here . The forum member says that "without even trying the Norton toolbar with full functionality showed up. The browser works great and the Norton toolbar works great."

Hi, bjm_. Did all that. Still won't play Flash. Others in the Vivaldi forums have reported the same issue.

Current version is v 1.2.490.3. Stable, reasonably quick, and uses Chrome extensions.
I currently have Norton Toolbar, WOT, Adblock Plus, HTTPS Everywhere and Ghostery all installed.
Menu bar on the top, and easy access to my imported Firefox bookmarks, unlike Opera !

Tried it today. Once set up, it works quite well. I have all my Chrome extensions.
Rendering is a little jerky, and seems no faster than Chrome
Also seems to use a fair amount of memory. Nine processes running in Task Manager, with only one tab open !
Will test it for a while.
Yes it supports HTML5 but a lot of sites still use Flash.
Another update today. 1.1.453.52
