Reasons to Use Vivaldi Instead of Chrome or Firefox

I first heard about Vivaldi here. The forum member says that "without even trying the Norton toolbar with full functionality showed up. The browser works great and the Norton toolbar works great."

Hi, bjm_.   Did all that. Still won't play Flash. Others in the Vivaldi forums have reported the same issue.  frown

F 4 E: Cannot play videos, except for HTML5 videos on You Tube.

FWIW ~ https://help.vivaldi.com/article/install-flash-player-for-vivaldi/

Uninstalled. Cannot play videos, except for HTML5 videos on You Tube. no

Current version is v 1.2.490.3. Stable, reasonably quick, and uses Chrome extensions.

I currently have Norton Toolbar, WOT, Adblock Plus, HTTPS Everywhere and Ghostery all installed.

Menu bar on the top, and easy access to my imported Firefox bookmarks, unlike Opera !

Tried it today. Once set up, it works quite well. I have all my Chrome extensions.

Rendering is a little jerky, and seems no faster than Chrome

Also seems to use a fair amount of memory. Nine processes running in Task Manager, with only one tab open !  frown

Will test it for a while.

Yes it supports HTML5 but a lot of sites still use Flash.

Another update today. 1.1.453.52
