Received suspicious emails, is from Norton?

I have received emails, several times that looks like it might be from a fraud.

From:     "Virus Protection" <eases.substiyute...

Subject:  Warning - You are Not Protected by Norton Update. Now.

and

From:     Norton AntiVirus Partner"<plebiscityopgave3965...

Subject:  Warning You may not be protected by Norton. Update Now.

 

Are these authentic?  Are they from Norton. My suscription still has more than a year re3maining.

There have been many reports of similar phishing emails recently.  If your Norton product subscription is currently active, ignore and delete these messages, as they are almost certainly a scam.

I also have been receiving that email every day since I installed NIS 2012. I guess it is about a month now.  They come from different sources, some get stopped by my spam detector and others into my inbox. I just delete them now every day. I guess they haven't got tired of doing it yet after a month. They did take off the weekend of New Year's and I thought they had stopped, but no such luck.
