Using LIveupdate I just updated and now have problems with Norton Toolbar in Firefox..
My NIS 2013 shows that it is 20.2.1.22.
My Norton Toolbar is 2013.3.1.3.
Norton Vulnerability Protection: 11.1.1.5 -3
I am using Firefox 18.0.2; and have not yet upgraded to the new 19.0.
Using Windows XP.
The Norton Toolbar is present in Firefox in my administrator account, but is absent in the user account that I normally use. The Firefox add-on manager shows that the Norton Toolbar 2013.3.1.3 is indeed installed and enabled, but it is not visible in the toolbar area.. It is also not working. To test, I went to a search engine to see if the Norton Safeweb feature was working, and it is not.
The Norton Toolbar shows up in Firefox in the adminstrator account, and it shows up in IE in both accounts. I have never had any problem before with the Norton updates that occur before each new Firefox release. This is a first for me.
I have already tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, and I get the same results--no Norton Toolbar in the user account, but Firefox says it is installed.. Do I need to uninstall/reinstall NIS 2013?
