My N360P 3.0 had problems and needed to be installed again. Is there a way to reconnect the previous backups so you don’t have to reenter new back up sets? My backup size almost fills each backup drive and there is not enough room to put the new sets. I do not feel safe not having a backup having to delete the old and wait for Norton to finish backing it all up again.

Hi HeavenBound
Do your previous backups reside on external drives or are they on-line backups? If on-line have you set up your reinstalled Norton 360 to access your account?
Previous N360P backups reside on external drive devices. I can see them for restore but I do not want to restore – just reconnect them if possible so I do not use more space for duplicated backups.
Hi HeavenBound,
Probably waiting for an answer from others can you try this link from symantec.
Though the document refers to backing up the Online Backup set, I assume it is worth trying for the External backup sets also.
Hope this helps
