Hello all,
Last month after hearing about problems with my Seagate sata drive I purchased Norton Ghost 14 and backed it up to an external USB HD. Last week the Seagate died as advertised and the firmware upgrade didn't work. I bought a new hd of the same size (1tb) and used the "recover my computer" wizard which seemed to work perfectly until it rebooted. When booting from the hd the computer hangs after the "verifying dmi pool data" message. I can boot from the Norton disk and see that the files are indeed on the hard drive. Btw, I did verify the two images (two partitions) and they are both valid.
This is the first time I have ever used Norton Ghost so I'm not sure what other information to list.
So, any ideas? Thanks in advanced for any help.
Reed
