I did something so STUPID, I can't believe I did it :-(~
I'd accidentally DELETED my Norton Backup File Folder from my External USB HDD ! ! !
I haven't written or deleted anything since, as I'd unplugged it IMMEDIATELY and kept it put away ! ! !
Is there a way to RECOVER a DELETED '.gho' file set ? ? ?
I did a DEEP SCAN with Easeus Recovery Pro 5.5.1. I found the folder the Norton Backups folder, but it was empty :-(~
I did; however, find a folder full of zip folders. Are Ghost backups stored as zip files?
If the Ghost backup files are contained within these zip folders, does anyone know how to assemble them so the utility recognizes them.
MAIN OBJECTIVE= Recover ONE Parent FOLDER, and it's sub-folders with ANY VERSION of their files, as I'd formatted the drive a few days prior and did a full system backup. Losing a few days worth of minor woek is OK.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
