Recovery Data - Question

 

If I recover drives from an external drive, will my computer’s hard drive be reformatted before the recovery begins or will it be overwritten with the backup data from my external drive?

 

I use Norton Ghost 15.

If you recover an image, it will format and overwrite the drive.  You can use Recovery Point Browser to recover individual files / folders. You can open RPB by double clicking the image file (v2i, iv2i). You can also right click the image file, you can mount it as a drive letter to copy files from.
