My Outlook 2007 seems incompatible with NIS (2009, I think). I change the password and then, over about a month, Outlook begins to give me send/receive errors because it does not recognise my password. Over a few days Outlook degrades from re-entering my Outlook p/w to solve the issue, then even this does not work. So I have to re-set my p/w (sometimes I have to go back to my ISP to get it to 'stick') and then I'm good with Outlook for another month or so. Then it starts over again!
I've read elsewhere that I can solve this by switching off my NIS email scanning but when I do this NIS tells me I'm running at risk and all hell will break loose.
I'm sure this is common and fixable. Ideas?
