NIS 2012 working well, no problems. I was invited to upgrade to NIS 2013 and was under the impression that it was properly installed.
A few days later noticed the little red cross on the taskbar NIS icon. This is usually a reminder to carry out a scan or live update.
Tried the FIX NOW key and in due course it reported Fix Not Complete on Auto Protect, Sonar Protection, Anti spyware. All had a red cross while Email protection had an exclamation mark in a small yellow box.
Closing that window brings me back to initial window and as expected the first box on left is RED AT RISK with Trust Level 70%.
Next I try SCAN NOW and selected QUICK SCAN. After a short period I get a new window showing a cross in a red box and announcing PROBLEM DETECTED with Your product is inactive beneath it. Next sentence prompts me to go to the main window of the product for more information.
For the life of me I cannot see that there is any assistance there. It tells me I have 157 days protection left.
Question. HOW DO I MAKE MY INACTIVE PRODUCT ACTIVE?
