I have an oldish laptop with NIS2011 installed. When i do a full system scan the performance is affected to the point that it is barely useable for the duration of the scan. The 120GB HDD is partitioned into a c drive with all the programs on it which is nearly full (about 2GB spare space) and a d drive for data which is roughly a third full. Would extending the c drive improve the performance during scans or is the laptop just underpowered (it has a 1.6GHz pentium T2060 and only 1GB ram)?
