Regarding: Program Control "System"

What is this "System" located under program control?

Every program listed under program control is properly identified.  eg:  Line 1 Microsoft Internet Explorer Line 2 C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe.

System is listed as Line 1 System Line 2 System.  ???

I initially disabled it on this machine.  I bought a 3 license version and eventually installed it (NIS 2009) on my other two machines.  Rigth away my home network was killed.  I ended up doing a custom rule for "System" allowing it access to computers on the local subnet only.  My home network came back to life.

Eventually I needed to connect to work via Cisco VPN.  No dice.  The only way I can connect to work via VPN now is to allow "System" full internet access.

Again, I would like to know what all "System" lets through beings I am being forced to have it open.

I am becoming very sorry I purchased this program :(  At least NIS 2005 let ME control things the way I wanted them controlled.  The list of shortcomings I have found with  NIS 2009 is growing larger than the list of some software I have BETA tested!!!
