Issue abstract:Regarding the deployment of Norton 360 darkweb monitoring on multiple PCs
Detailed description:I have a question regarding Norton 360’s Dark Web Monitoring. I have five licenses, one of which is installed on someone else’s smartphone. Smart scans and other features work normally. However, when I tried to sign in to Dark Web Monitoring using the address on which it was installed, I encountered problems even after entering both the password and passcode. This seems to be due to the account being linked incorrectly. Does this type of usage constitute a license violation? Also, if it’s not a problem, I understand that registration is only possible with the account owner’s information. Does this mean that I cannot install the five Norton 360 licenses on a family PC? If it’s not a problem, could you please guide me on how to proceed?
Product & version number:26.4.10932(build26.4.10932.0) norton360 premium version

What is the error message you are seeing? Only, A problem has occurred.

All installations you have initiated will be linked to your account. Not the email you sent the installation invitation. You have to log into your Norton Account on all the devices to activate Dark Web monitoring.
Thank you for your prompt reply. My understanding is that when adding a device to multiple PCs, etc., after entering the recipient’s address and submitting it, installing from the attached URL and logging in with that account will automatically reflect the additional license information in the contract table.
That is true for PC’s. But mobile phones work differently. The email invitation you send just directs the user to the appropriate app store for that device. The Norton Account holder has to sign into their Norton Account to activate the subscription.
If you have access to that device, it is no problem for you to enter your information. What I have done in the past to accomplish this for a family member not living with me was to temporarily change my Norton Account password and given the family member that information. Then after they activate the app, I change my password again.
Also you need to understand that the Dark Web Monitoring they will see is what you have set up in your Norton Account. They do not get to set up separate information as it will get stored in your Norton Account.
Thank you very much for your very detailed response. I now have a much better understanding of the idea of deploying Norton on multiple mobile devices and utilizing its darkweb monitoring feature. I deeply appreciate your prompt response to my question.
