Registry backup?

Hello TO

Trying to reconcile conflicting information about saving / restoring a complete registry backup. 

First version is > regedit export will create and save a complete registry backup

                         regedit import will restore the above complete registry backup

 

                         System Restore point will create and save a complete registry backup

                         System Restore point will restore the above complete registry backup

 

Second version > Only way to create and save and restore a complete registry backup is with an app like ERUNT
