Hi,
For several weeks I have had almost daily false alerts of information detection on the dark Web from Norton 360, which systematically leads to a lack of alert.

I have seen the same alerts myself on my Android phone with Norton 360. I have assumed it to be a bug that will someday clear itself but it is rather annoying to see and then investigate to find out there is no alert at all
Whatever the reason or intent is, this service as all services should be accurate and devoid of being labeled scare tactics. I see these as well periodically on my Android Galaxy Z-Flip 5 on Android 16 UI version 8.0 . I ignore them mainly, due to have credit freezes with all three reporting agencies here in the US. Not even a soft hit by snooping companies is allowed, if the attempt is made its blocked and I get an e-mail alert. I also use Passkeys for everything from e-mail to banking. Sort of redundant on my part to worry about mobile, conversely, in the EU things are not the same as here. Watching the thread to see how/if someone Norton gets involved and what the answers/solutions are so I can pass along to the other forums users when they post.

Hey, I’ve just raised this with Norton and I didn’t get a response from the technical team. I am hoping to hear back as they have escalated the query.
I have escalated this issue in another thread here.
I still haven’t heard anything official, but they did give me a phone number to get through to someone; 020 7616 5600. Talking to someone did help to clarify the issue.
What did they tell you that clarified your issue?
They said it looked like there must be a technical issue because there was no alert they could see. Took me an online agent and three telephone agents to get there.
Thanks
Bonjour,
A titre d’information, je viens de recevoir cette fausse alerte sur mon Galaxy S25 (version Android 16 ; version One Ui 8.0).
