If you only uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2008, the subscription information should still be on the system. Simply download and install the trial version:

http://nct.symantecstore.com/fulfill/0184.065

Once installed, it will pick up the registration still on your system.

If the subscription information was removed from your system, you can visit the following site to retrieve your Norton Internet Security 2008 key:

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks!

But what if I reinstall my product after the expiration date? I tried it but the software already didn't recognized

my product key. How can I activate my product now that I already renewed it? Thanks!

Which product and version are you installing? Did you reinstall with the same activation key, or with a new activation key, or with a renewal code? For the last two options, there is a choice during the Configuration Wizard to either enter a renewal code or enter an activation key. For the first option, if you're using an activation key that has an expired subscription, it would make sense that you would not be able to install this. I apologize if I'm misunderstanding the situation. It might be helpful to visit the below site to contact our free Customer Support:

If you have already done this and they could not resolve your issue, please let us know. If this is the case, please provide as many details as possible. Thanks!

The product installed on my laptop is Norton Internet Security 2008. I uninstalled it accidentally and so I have no choice but to download and install your trial software. I didn't came across with the renewal configuration. :(

Lately, I already got my renewal code (for 3 users) and I don't know where to input it inorder to activate the product. Thanks for the help! :)

If you have a renewal code, click 'Subscription' in the bottom left corner of the Norton Protection Center tab, and enter the key into the bottom selection. If you still have issues, contact our free Customer Support:

I was recently diagnosed with a virus and it was recommended that I delete everything and start all over. I would like to know and I can reintall the Norton protection I just bought a week ago. I made my purchase over the internet and foolishly did not buy the CD. The file in which the download was orignially saved was deleted as a result of the virus. Thanks.

I guess you received a license when you bought it? So that shouldn’t be a problem
