For some reason I've had to contact Norton for a 4th time in about as many months due to issues since a large Norton update occurred. No viruses were found. Only problems with Norton working properly. I have Windows 10.
With a third removal and re-installation of Norton and no known cause of why problems were experienced, I am fearful. All seems to be working OK now. However, shortly after this new installation two new windows popped up at the bottom-right of my screen and appeared to be a Norton notification. One saying that all of Norton's features have not been applied to my Edge browser. The other was the same, but for Firefox. Both asked if I wanted to apply Norton to each. I have Internet Explorer also, but no alert was prompted for Internet Explorer. I did not let the application apply to Firefox or Edge.
My question is: Should I CLICK on these messages and allow them to apply to my Norton? Like I said above... I am scared that these may be fake because I am gun-shy now. I hope someone in the Norton community will reply back to this and tell me it is normal and that I should allow the prompts to do as requested. I just want to be sure before I act. Thanks!!

Thank you for your answer.
I’m the same as far as Norton’s technicians are concerned.
So far I am satisfied with this most recent repair session. I give Norton's technicians the mark of excellence for their efforts and willingness to correct this issue I've been having. I don't think there is another anti-virus support team that can match Norton's. They are awesome. As far as my backup, I did have problems twice. And most recent was the updates not working.
Thank you Mobile Master.... this is what I was hoping to hear. Much relief on this end☺
Hi DavidlsMe, I have had the same problems since November. After having to use Norton Power Eraser (NPE) almost every 10 days, I finally tried Norton Remove and Reinstall. Are you completely satisfied with the results ? (apart from the popups) I'd like to know if you also happen to have a problem with Norton Backup after reinstalling Norton (NRnR). Thanks. Regards. micoudu from France
Those popups are from Norton and are just letting you know you do not have all features set up for your browsers. It may be ID Safe, or Safe Search it is trying to get you to set up. If you want any of the Norton Toolbar features you can click through the popup and choose the items you want to enable.
If you do not want any of these features, there is a do not as me again link in the popup. Just click that.
Please note that the above has an error in the timeframe. Instead of the 4 issues in 4 months, the timeframe is 4 issues in about 4 weeks. Sorry about that....
