I had Ghost 14.0 deleted from my C: drive (as part of an uninstall Norton products) to resolve a very slow boot up problem. However, I still have a series of backups, full and incremental, on my separate USB F: drive.
I am about to attempt to reinstall Ghost but I would prefer a totally clean install just in case anything in the backup was causing the bootup problem.
Do I need to delete the existing Norton Backups folder from my F: drive before reinstalling ( and the VproRecovery folder?)
The reason I ask (rather than just deleting them anyway) is that I have heard something about Norton being able to load old backups as a separate file system. If I leave the Norton Backups folder as it is will the new install be able to cope with this? Or would you recommend wiping the folders before trying to reinstall?
Thanks.
Derek.
