My dad's laptop has had to be wiped and rebuilt, he has a subscription to NIS 2011. I have the laptop in my house doing this and i put the downloader from my computer ( i also have a subscription) on his laptop and downloaded, thinking that i could just install it and put his product key in from his account. When it loads though, it automatically appears to have registered itself to my account and taken one of my 3 activations.
Is this because I'm doing this from my IP address or is there something I can do to avoid this problem?
