I have a pc running WIN XP SP3 with Norton 360 v5.0 and the only way I can connect to this computer with "Remote Desktop Connection" is to disable the Norton 360 firewall. I also can't see the other computers on my home network with the Norton 360 firewall enabled.
What settings do I need to change in the Norton 360 firewall to make RDP work?
I tried that but it didn't help.
I've decided to run Norton 360 without the firewall and use the Windows firewall instead.
I've wasted to much time on this and it's time to move on. (two weeks off and on)
Automatenut,
Go to Firewall Settings, in Program Rules, make sure that you add mstsc.exe from C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder and set it to Allow.
Yogesh
Did that too to no avail!
