REMOVAL OF DECRYPT CRYTOWALL 2.0 VIRUS

Hi Norton Community Team

Our Acer CPU and 3 external hard disk had infected by the decrypt cryptowall 2.0 virus on 15 November 2014.

We do not aware that such folder files are part of the computer virus until lately then we realize that we need to pay a certain ransom in order to get the encryption keys to remove these viruses.

The virus encrypts all files and kept them locked.  It has changed all the file/s folder date of modified to 15 November 2014.  The Decrypt CryptoWall 2.0 virus files are :
Decrypt _Instruction : HTML Document, Text Document and Internet Shortcut.

All the files folder in our CPU and external hard disk can be listed but cannot be opened for viewing and editing.

We have get the technical support team to assist on the problems.  Their advice was that these viruses are very aggressive and unable to remove it.  Till to date, the technical support team are still working in progress on cracking this code.

During this period, it is very frustrating and annoying that all our data stored in the devices cannot be assessed.

Kindly assist and advise us whether the technical expert team at Norton or any IT expertise able to remove the code virus.

Thank you to The Norton Community Team for your kind assistance and attention.

With Best Regards
