Thanks for the reply, but I’m using Firefox, which doesn’t have this option. How can I remove it there?
Actually, I figured it out by just rightclicking the top toolbar. Thanks!
I have Firefox 2 and I hid the bar by going to the top menu bar "view" > "toolbars" and unchecked "Show Norton Toolbar".
If you are using Firefox 3, I don't know the answer, but I would think you have a similar option there.
I see you figured it out while I was typing.
I just installed NIS, and it created a bar “Phishing Protection” on my browser that I’d rather not have. Where can I go/what options do I check to remove this bar? I’d like my NIS to function as unobtrusively as possible. Thanks!
If you are using IE7, just go to tools > toolbars and uncheck "Show Norton Toolbar". It can also be hidden in Firefox by going to view > toolbars.
You still get the phishing protection even if the toolbar is not showing.
