Good question -- I know exactly what you mean.
Let's see if Norton come up with something -- porbably after the weekend since they do take some private time -- but I wonder if 2012 is any different since it does enable you to cancel an activation on a machine no longer in use.
If there is no way to do this please post a message in the Product Suggestions Forum since that is what it is for .... I'd suggest including that if there is some technical reason valid from the Norton point of view that we should have a Hide function that would leave data there but temporarily hidden on our machines.
I can see that it could be important for the information to stay on the Norton central database .......
Thanks for the replies. The hide idea seems to be a good solution.I hope norton might take it on board.
elison,
Please post the suggestion in the Product Suggestions Forums since that is monitored by upper management and marketing as well .....
I would also like to remove trials from my Norton account. There is one from 2008 that keeps making its way back up the list - I just want it to go away!
Seems pointless having entires that you can't do anything with and mixing with active subscriptions. At least normal expired subscriptions go to the bottom of the list and are displayed as "Expired", unlike the trial ones which look active and cause confusion.
