Hello Forum.

I have a question if I buy an English version of Norton Internet Security from Amazon.co.uk can I use the license to renew my Danish version?

The keys should work. The only difference between Enlish version and Danish is that UI has been translated into Danish. Let us know if you have any problems when you are renewing.

If you use the Update Center next year, you may find that you will get an English version since the update center uses the key which is tied to a location to determine the language of the program. But that system may change by the time you have to renew again..

And to add to Floplot's reply ... there is a workaround -- we can give you a link to the URL to download the Danish language installation file if it is a different file to the one directly associated with your KEY.

 

So check back before using the Version Check function or acting on a message that there is a new upgrade available -- That means going from 2012 to 2013 -- not the updates that come down with LiveUpdate.
