CozmikDolphin - Sorry to hear about your PC crashing.  From what I've read in several of these posts, it's not a good idea to have two antivirus programs running at the same time.  That may cause other problems..  Second comment, you said you didn't have the funds to transfer the information from your old drive to your new PC.  Why not look at just adding that old drive to your new PC and calling it drive D: or E:?  That way you would still have all your old information available for use.  Just a thought.

Hello CozmikDolphin

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Since you have a current subscription for one of the Norton security programs, I would recommend uninstalling Kaspersky. I assume that is the trial version of the program that came with your new computer. Since the countdown is still going down even without it being used, I wouldn't wait the 80 days for the trial to end.

You would have to remove that Kaspersky program using the control panel method and rebooting and then use the removal tool from Kaspersky. If you tell us which Norton product, we can give you further instructions on how to get it installed. Don't do the uninstall of Kaspersky until you get the rest of the instructions from us. Thanks.

mentioning "maintaining your protection" is B..s..

nonsense, have made many payments to norton and their was never any problem, norton is just greedy.

bad policy from them

This allows for time to resolve any possible issues that might arise with your payment system, while maintaining your protection from your subscription.

You should have received an email notifying you of the pending payment. If you cannot find one, check your spam/junk folder.
