The cost of renewing Norton 360 deluxe to me is going to be £89.99.As a pensioner that is far too much,especially
as the product(Norton 360 Deluxe can be bought for £19.23 from Amazon.How does Norton justify this price?
As soon as I get the daily annoying nags about expiry, usually about a month before, I buy a new key from a cheaper reseller, then have a chat session to apply my new key and add the 366 days to what I currently have left.
Never had a problem.

This has been discussed here many times for many years now. The pricing model is the same one used by many/most subscription based services these days. You get a 'discounted' price as a new customer, but the renewal will be at the 'regular' price.
You are free to disable your Automatic Renewal on your current subscription and purchase a new subscription from a reputable retailer. Many here do this each year. Just remember that as you enter the new product key you will lose any remaining time on the original subscription. So wait for one or two days remaining on the old subscription before entering the new key.
