Hi, I have showing in MyNorton account that my Norton™ 360 Premium — annual subscription renews on 5/5/2025.
I have however been getting emails from Norton saying my renewal subscription will be billed on 31st March? Why is this so early…is this normal?..I would have expected it to be late April/ early May!
@Cptrossco1 In another post Guru bjm explains the automatic renewal and billing process:
It is normal for billing for renewal to happen 45-60 day in advance.
Subscribing to our automatically renewing Norton subscription service ensures that you do not lose your protection. It means you do not have to remember to go back and renew your subscription to stay protected. We send a notification email before each upcoming annual renewal (usually about 50-65 days ahead), so that you are not caught off-guard. This notification email provides important information, such as the price for the next annual term, and the subscription renewal and billing dates. This helps you to adjust your protection plan according to your needs.
Another benefit of subscribing to our automatically renewing subscription is that you gain the benefits of the Norton Virus Protection Promise. From the moment you subscribe you will have access to Norton experts that can help keep your devices virus-free or give you a refund*.
*Restrictions apply. Must purchase, renew, or upgrade your Norton qualifying subscription directly from Norton.com, or activate Subscription Renewal with Norton. See Virus Protection Promise for details including qualifying Norton subscriptions.
Please note: Annual subscriptions : Norton annual subscriptions include a 60-day Money Back Guarantee. Under our 60-day Money Back Guarantee, the purchase of a Norton annual subscription is eligible for a full refund, if requested within 60 days of the purchase date. Each annual renewal payment is also eligible for a full refund, if requested within 60 days of being charged. For an annual paid subscription after a free trial, you can request a full refund within 60 days of being charged. Subsequent annual renewal payments are also eligible for a full refund if requested within 60 days of being charged.

are you United States?
I’m in New Zealand. Have managed to get onto chat to Norton and yes they have explained that this is normal to advise billing so early. I would have thought billing within 15-30 days would be more than enough… as advised by Norton with plenty of emails well in advance!
As a result I have turned off Automatic Renewal.
@Cptrossco1 Thanks for the post back. As posted earlier it is indeed normal for early renewal charges 45-60 days in advance to ensure coverage of your Norton product.

Renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless the renewal is cancelled before billing. Renewal payments are billed annually (up to 35 days before renewal) or monthly depending on your billing cycle.
@bjm If you have issue with my posting please PM me!! TIA.
