Issue abstract: The X button doesn’t work on most renewal ads… Possibly intentional?
Detailed description:
I need to know if this is a glitch or just predatory programming, but the attached screenshot is the second example I’ve come across where I’m actually unable to use the product because the below screen’s X button doesn’t work. The See Renewal Option button takes me to a webpage but doesn’t close the pop up.
Last week a similar message was displayed but it had three button, one of them being Renew Now. The other two buttons didn’t work, and the only way to close the window was to renew now and exit mid-way through. Are they actually creating screens that can’t be bypassed without a renewal? I can’t even get into the settings menu!
This is NOT related to the screen scaling bugs on this forum about the buttons being offscreen. The buttons are visible and clickable but do nothing at all. Every time I am considering taking their renewal offer, I get turned off by this potentially evil design. Anyone else having these issues?
