Renewal Price

I'm just surprised that my yearly subscription cost is up to $118.  I know Norton is partnered with Life Lock now - and

I have had Life Lock for years - but that is getting pretty expensive too.  I will probably stay with Norton - but I think I will switch my LifeLock over to Experian Protect My ID - the reason?.....well - I found out - that I was never notified by Life Lock about several personal loans, a loan from a furniture store, and a car loan...these were indeed my loans over the last few years - and they are all paid off - but when I called Life Lock - to say - why did I NEVER receive ANY notices/flags from you guys AT ALL?  I was shocked to find out - that they said they ONLY offer alerts and notices about loans/credit report inquiries ONLY for companies that have SIGNED UP WITH LIFELOCK (ie - listen for their tagline - "within our network")!  I think this is one of the biggest scandals that no one knows about - but they say - that they will help you if something happens - whether the fraud was with one of their "registered companies" or not - but I've also had the Experian for a few years - and they have the same benefits as Life Lock - but THEY contact me no matter who inquires on my credit report and no matter who I (or a thief) takes a loan out with...and on the SAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!  So - if you get a car loan through Kia - Experian will send you an alert - Life Lock will not.....same with Raymour and Flanagan (furniture store), and my local credit union....etc......  I just think people should be aware of this.....
