Renewal with electronic key

I have been a devoted and loyal Norton user for many, many years. However, Norton does not appreciate my devotion and loyalty, they want $79.99 for renewal when they sell their product at a significant lower price at other outlets, which is a slap in the face of loyal users.

Would an electronic key work to renew my account?

If I decide to discontinue my account due to your greed and lack of appreciation for loyal and devoted users, How long would I have to wait to be considered a "new user"?

Would a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission change this Practice?

In addition to the information in SoulAsylum's post, be sure you have turned off the Automatic Renewal 'feature' in your Norton Account to avoid getting billed. This can happen up to 30 days in advance of your expiry date. It can get fixed, but it is a hassle.

And take note of the message within that link.

If you use a product key, the remaining days with your current subscription do not get added to the subscription associated with the new key.

So only enter your new product key when you are down to one or two days remaining.

Hello chelman. Yes!! You can indeed purchase a product key from your local retail outlet and activate it. Follow this guide to do so.
