Renewing Licence

Hello,

 

I have a question regarding renewing my licence for NIS 2010.  I currently have 67 days left on my subscription for NIS 2010.  However, I have found a really good deal on Norton Internet Security at a local store:

If I buy a new copy of NIS 2010 (for another one-year subscription), when does the timer start?  Is it the first time I activate the new licence key?  I woud like to take advantage of this sale now, but just enter the new licence key when my current subscription is up...is this OK to do?
