Hi. I have NIS 2009 running on my laptop and desktop. For Christmas, a relative gave me a copy of NAV 2008. Is it necessary for me to renew all of NIS 2009 together or can I use the gift copy to just renew the NAV part of the NIS 2009 product? If so, how do I do it. Can I just enter a product key from the CD package someplace online to renew it? What will happen with the unrenewed NIS 2009 part of the product, will it continue to protect the system with the renewal?
Also, a question for a relative who is running NIS 2009: She purchased Norton 360 recently. Does she need to uninstall NIS 2009 before installing 360 or will the software "see" NIS 2009 on her system and just upgrade the product with 360?
