A norton popup repeatedly reported a conflict, saying it was searching for a solution. None found, it directed me to the symantec site for the conflict resolution instructions. Carried these out, involving all Norton files removed, then a computer restart after which I was supposed to follow on-screen prompts. NONE APPEARED. So, what do I do now, please ? The conflict was fiven a 7 figure code, xxxx-xxx. No idea what it was. Now have no anti-virus protection, I guess. How can Symantec allow this to happen ?
