Repeated failure to update on Comcast SS 21.1

Hello:

 

For the past two evenings I have installed, removed (using Norton Removl Tool) and reinstalled the new Comcast Sec Suite 21.1 revision at least four times. At each new installation, every time I try to update I get odd file update amounts (the first try may say 17.1M, the "update failed", the next try 147.18M and "update failed" then 7.2M and "update failed"). After each attempt at Live Update I get "updates failed" but no codes.

 

I'm running W7 Premium.

 

Am I missing something? My Lenovo notebook is spot-on up to date. I have no other antivirus.

Apparently problem is resolved. Some kind of patch showed up twice...

Hi Kyuzo,

 

Not sure exactly what hapened with your upgrade - ut it ap[pears that you could have been a few upgrades behind and that is what caused the multiple uopdates and upgrade patchs.  Keep an eye on it and if you need any assistance, you know where to find us.
