Submitted and then was sent another url to complete another form https://submit.symantec.com/dispute/insight/. I think someone at Symantec’s end did not read what I wrote properly and thought I was the software developer.
Try submitting the false positive again but state clearly that you are notthe software developer ;-) Please make sure that you have ticked "No" under "I am the vendor of the potentially mis-identified software", and you can state in the "Additional information" box that your first submission was misread.
However, I see that the other form also allows you to submit a false positive even if you are not the creator of the software - it says the following:
End users may also use this form. Please be sure to specify that you are a user and not the creator of this software in the form.
It also give you the option to specify whether you are the software creator or the software user.
