What does it mean?

RU insulting me or it's my idea?

Apostolos,

I'm sure you yank it didnt intend to offend you, I would have understood this:

You can assume anything your desire!

Hi Sandro,

You may have right you may haven't.

I'd like to believe that you are right and it was not an intended word game.

I think that an explanation from his part is required at minimum...

Dear
Apostolos,

This is true, but knowing the correctness, professionalism and knowledge that Yank shows always, everything suggests that this thing will turn out like a soap bubble blown up by an innocent child.

@all,

You aksed for it - what did I mean?

I meant that assuming makes an ass(Ass out of)-u(you and)-me.

Not an insult in my eyes and I absolutely despise the word assume - I have seen more harm caused by assuming than good has come out of it, especailly in a technical environment.  I get that from my old days in the military, where assuming can have much greater consequences.

If I offended anyone, sorry!

Hi Yank,

So it was something like: a s s out:  to be out of luck; left without something.

Ok no problem.

" I get that from my old days in the military, where assuming can have much greater consequences."

I know that, I spent 2 years, aboard several types of naval warships, (communications), with no issues at all.

Regards,

I had purchased the Norton 360 online last May.  Won't be renewing subscription for 2014.

So it appears that you still have remaining subscription dates.

Do you have the latest version of NIS 21.2.0.38??

Open Norton and click on Support and see which version you have.

If you have the latest version then it's normal that the Reputation Scan does not appear.

Regards,

When I log into my Norton account, there isn't a support location.  Only shows Windows 7 & the old Windows Xp

Hi,

No you misunderstood, I asked you to go to your Norton Account just to check if there are still days of subscription available.(which can also be checked via the Norton interface, Support - Subscription Status).

Now, open your Norton product, from Windows start menu and click on Support and check which number version you have.

Latest version is 21.2.0.38.

Regards,

Shows that I have the newest version & it expires 5-11-14

Hi,

If you have the latest version, then it's ok, Reputation Scan no longer exists, so you're good.

If you want to run something similar, named Norton Insight, open the NIS main GUI, Advanced user interface, and click on Norton Insight link.

This will give you info about the Trust Level of programs installed.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Thank You so much..
