Our NISTViewer.exe application (and installers) are all correctly signed using valid DigiCert certificates. Please see the screenshots below:I beleive this is therefore a false positive on the part of Norton Firewall, I'd be greatful if you could please investigate and fix this issue, so that our customers do not face this issue in the future.
I reviewed the submission and see that the detection was removed from a file on the same day it was submitted. I found the application NIST Viewer online and download the file NISTViewer-Setup-x64.exe(file version 9.5.3.0) to try to reproduce the issue on my side. I was able to successfully install the app without any detection from Norton.
If you still see detection then please share the screenshot of the detection and if possible provide a download link for the file which is detecting so we can further investigate.
