Restart issue after Norton update

Issue abstract:

Detailed description:Booted up PC fine, did a Norton 360 update and it download new definitions etc as part of that update it asked me to restart PC so i did. Restart failed half way through and now whatever i do PC won’t restart. On starting now Win10 goes into repair but can’t repair itself. What has Norton done to my PC.

@Bean66 What is the version and build of Windows 10 you have installed on the affected computer? Were there any Windows Updates pending?

Good pointer on the windows updates. So in the end in the WIN advanced Repair area i chose to reinstall WIN 10, which seems to have work now just need to work out how to reinstall Norton (win install removed it) without haveing to pay again

Download Norton from within your Norton account. If you only have one license seat remove it before downloading so the install will activate again.
