Restore deleted recycle bin files

Norton Utilities Premium version 17. 0.5.701

Windows 10 2004

I down loaded Norton Utilities Premium a couple of days ago and it identified many instances of internet junk and Windows junk.  I clicked on the button to remove the files.

Today I realised I had deleted a folder that I needed and looked in the Recycle bin to restore the folder and found that it had gone.  I opened Norton Utilities to restore it from there but there did seem to be a possibility to do so.  I checked the settings and found it had been set to "Incinerate Files."

Can the folder be restored?

Thank you peterweb.  I should have checked the settings before clicking erase.  I had inadvertently deleted the folder.

I have since changed the setting from incinerate to delete.

The whole idea of 'incinerating files' is so they are not recoverable.

As always, the best protection for important files is a good blackup plan.
