In NIS 11, I use Automatic Program Control. When I view the Program Control configuration, I can see that NIS assigned each program an access of “Auto”, as I expected. Each one has a dropdown menu with 4 choices: allow, block, custom, or auto. I experimented by setting one to Block to see how that would change the rule. Now that I want to change it back to Auto, there are only 3 choices: allow, block, or custom. I presume the only way to get it to display “Auto” again, would be to completely remove it from the Program Control list, and then let Norton re-find it the next time that program needs access, when NIS should once again assign it “Auto”. Is that correct? Thanks.
