My daughters laptop died. I had set up cloud backup through Norton.
I can see it has been backed up and there is data (10.9Gb) saved. But when I try to browse the backup folder it says no files backed up. But it does give me the option to delete the backups!
@Pugsman I personally use a third party solution vice NBU therefore I don’t know if this will get you the results you need. If your daughter now has a NEW laptop and has Norton installed, create a “default” backup set from that device to the cloud. Make sure you name is so it can be distinguished from other sets already there. When done, then see if the backups already in the cloud are visible. Please post your results so we can follow-up with you.
That’s a weird one! Try logging out of Norton and back in, then check if the files show up. Sometimes it helps to refresh the backup list. If that doesn’t work, maybe try restoring a few files from the backup to see if it’s just the folder view glitching. If all else fails, contact Norton support, they should be able to help you access the data.
