Restoring my computer to an earlier time

I have tried to restore my computer to an earlier date. It fails to do that, saying that one file is blocking. It may be an anti virus file.

I'm using Windows 7 on my computer and Norton 360 program.

 

Any suggestions?

Fix System Restore problems with Norton installed

This problem can happen due to a security feature in Norton products that prevents outside programs from making changes to Norton. This security feature can prevent Windows System Restore from changing Norton files, which results in the "Restoration Incomplete" message.

To fix this problem, temporarily turn off the Norton Product Tamper Protection before you run Windows System Restore.
