Retrieve Identity Safe From Crashed Computer

My old computer failed.  Bought a new computer.  I have the old C drive USBd to the new computer.  I had 360 ver 4 on old and new computer.  I never exported my old passwords to a npm file.  Is there a way to retrieve all the old passwords and get them on the new computer?

One thing to add to Phil_D's comments:  In the instructions given in the linked article, Step 1 involves turning off Norton Product Tamper Protection, and Step 2 tells you to shut down Norton via the Task Manager.  Unfortunately, Norton Products can no longer be disabled in this manner.  So you should disregard both steps and instead perform the operation in Safe Mode.  Norton does not load in Safe Mode, so it will already be disabled, and because of this, Tamper Protection will also not be running.

Good addition, SendOfJive.

Thanks!

You can find the exact steps for Norton 360 in the following thread:

Thank you very much Phil_D and SendOfJive.  The procedure worked without a hitch!

You're welcome!  Glad to hear everything went well.  Thinking ahead to next time, now would be a good time to backup your information to a .NPM file. :smileyhappy:
