I have 360 version 1.3.2.4. and Windows Vista.

It seems to be working fine except that when I right click on a folder, file or drive, I expect to see the "scan with Norton" option. But it's not there. I previously had an earlier version of 360 and that was a mouse right click feature.

Anyone know why I don't have that feature?

Thanks

I am sorry,the link to install the Norton 360 2.0 is N360 2.0

ok, thanks Vineeth.

I have Norton 360 version 2.3.1.4, Vista ultimate sp1, 64bit.

I don't have the right click scan option and I REALLY miss it!

Thanks,

Jeff

It's a known issue.

There is no right click scanning in 64bit

How about a dialog box where we can select directories to scan?  The old Norton AV corporate edition had this.

This feature is not available for Norton 360 v2. If you are running a 32-bit Operating System, though, you are able to right-click folders to scan them with Norton 360 v2. As previously mentioned, however, this feature is not available on Windows Vista 64-bit. I apologize for this inconvenience.

I welcome your apology, but that doesn't solve our problem with no individual file scanning. What I would like to hear is that their is a fix

for Vista 64 bit. I have always stuck by Norton products for many years now. If Norton 360 is one of the latest AV programs then it should

be ready for 64bit

So please describe in detail how I am protected against individual files or folders. I believe the box says return if not completely satisfied.

Chasbro

Right-click to scan individual files and folders on Vista 64-bit is something we've got on our short list for the next version of Norton 360.  Stay tuned...

There is no right click scan option in Norton 360 1.0 product. It has included in the new Norton 360 2.0 product.

The best thing you can do is to upgrade to Norton 360 2.0 ,if you have subscription remaining in your Norton 360 1.0 you are eligible for the free upgrade to Norton 360 2.0

You need to uninstall the Norton product before upgrading to the 2.0 version. Run Norton removal tool to remove the 1.0 version

If you have taken a backup using the online storage you need to run the BUdump tool before running the Norton removal tool, which is also included in the above link.

Now you can install the Norton 360 2.0 using the following link.

N360 2.0

Activate it using your product key
