As for me, Roxio Easy CD Creator has always worked for me. I also use registary cleaners and installed N360v1 and v2.

I reinstalled Roxio after i made the fixes for the shutdown and zombie process issue.  Now Roxio works.

Has got to be related to 360v2.

Thanks

Hello All,

After upgrading to 360v2 3 issues arised (so far as I know today).  The upgrade was done Sept 25th and have not really tested everything.

1. Windows "Help and Support" and any other application requiring this service stopped working.  I tried several fixes including to reinstall the help and install components and finally the one I believe worked was post #8 in this link http://forums.techarena.in/windows-xp-support/694584.htm.

2.  Had the shutdown and zombie process issue and this was resloved through the help of this forum.  See post http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=Norton_360&message.id=4838

3.  Finally, my Roxio Easy Creator no longer works.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.  I am under the impression 1 of 2 things happened: a) during the upgrade or after I ran the registry cleaner, one of the services Roxio depends on was stopped and never restarted.  If it was just a registry issue, this would have been resolved through a reinstallation of the product.  Any idea what it could be?

Help is much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Sorry,

I forgot to mention that when I launch Roxio, it briefly appears in the task manager and then disappears.  My apologies.
