s3 mini problem

Hi,

I just installed Norton Mobile Security on my s3 mini, and found a couple of problems.

First off, there is no option to scan apps in the Google Play Store, like there is on my Tab 2, why?

Also, in settings if I select to scan the SD card aswell, scans never seem to complete, they get to 100% then just hang there. Only when SD card option is disabled do scans work.

Any help please?
