So, Safari 5.0.1 is out and suddenly, Safari has extensions and toolbars! We've been doing this for Safari for a few years, but, hey, welcome to the party!
As you may have seen, our toolbar doesn't really co-exist with these newcomers all that well--you'll get a toolbar for each extension, which, well...looks bad. We know the problem, we're working on a patch, and we're working on getting it released.
In the meantime, all you need to do is go to the Norton Confidential application, click on the phishing protection tab, and uncheck the "Show Phishing Protection toolbar in browser" option. You'll still get our page scanning phishing protection, you just won't get the toolbar.
We'll update you the moment the patch is out.
Also, we just posted the latest Vulnerability Protection engine--it's available via LiveUpdate and updates the 3.0.0 engine.
