Issue abstract:
Detailed description: There appears to be a new safe call option on my Android device app, Norton 360. But the “upgrade options” option does not work; it just goes round in circles.
Presumably, this is because of an app update went wrong ?

In addition to Genie Scam Protection, Norton 360 with LifeLock customers also have Genie Scam Protection Pro, which includes:
Safe Call: Uses AI to automatically block scam calls, or labels incoming calls as scam, junk, or as a business, so people know if they should answer.
Scam Support and Reimbursement: Get help recovering money lost to a scam. A dedicated guide will assist in recovering lost funds.
Safe Email: Proactively scans emails to detect hidden scam patterns using Norton Genie AI and flags if they are suspicious, helping to detect sophisticated scams before they’re opened.
Disclaimer: Some new scam protection features will become available to current Norton customers on a rolling basis.
What version of 360 Android are you using? I just updated to ver 5.118.2 and I see the option for Safe Call, but as you are seeing, trying to Upgrade does nor work. It just circles back to the same page.
Full disclosure, I am on the beta testing channel. @MRNIGELGWILLIS Are you by chance on the beta channel? If so, the upgrade process may not have been activated yet.
Hello. According to the app and the app info, I am on version 5.118.2.
I am not in the beta channel. As a regular customer, I do not do Beta. I think though, that you have answered all of my questions.
Didn’t realise that Norton did things this way. Never was in my day. However, as always, thank you for you time and attention. I will wait for it to be switched on.
My Norton contact says “It’s likely an upsell option if the customer is located in the USA. Genie Scam protection is officially available only for USA, UK, NZ and Australian customers (and not 100% of the user base is yet covered).”
