SAFE WEB: BLOCKED: Frostwire.com

REPORT: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http:%2F%2Fwww.frostwire.com%2F

As of today, Norton SafeWeb (a component of NIS 2011) is now throwing up a page that access to FrostWire has been BLOCKED to www.frostwire.com because Norton believes that the following address is malicious:

LINK IN QUESTION: http://www.frostwire.com/download/?os=windows

The above link just references that the download you are about to receive is for a Windows platform.

Nothing malicious here.

Can we remove the BLOCK warning please and have Norton re-analyze this site. It has been safe for years now and I visit it daily. Why today is it being identified as malicious?

Thanks,

~Dustyn~

looks like nortons isnt the only one detecting it - http://forum.frostwire.com/viewtopic.php?p=31045#p31045

Ahhh... I remember now. Forgot that brothersoft is a rogue site... my mistake.

It never occured to me because I always get frostwire from somewhere other than brothersoft.

I agree ForstWire should move their servers somewhere else. Or even just host the files themselves.

Thanks for the quick responce!
